David Keylon, O.D.

Dr. Keylon founded Keylon Eyecare in 1971 after graduating from Southern College of Optometry in the same year. He has served as President of the Hiawassee Optometric Society and has been active in all aspects of optometry. As well, he is currently on an advisory panel for a lens manufacturer dealing with the business and technological logistics of spectacle lenses.

David is a native of Athens, TN where he grew up locally with 6 brothers and sisters. He is married to Joyce and they have two children. He has served in numerous church, civic organizations and other community activities. His hobbies include blacksmithing, woodworking and enjoying the great outdoors. Steve Clark, O.D.

A native of nearby Ooltewah, TN., Steve graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and later from the Southern College of Optometry in 1995. He enjoys practicing primary care optometry and has a strong contact lens practice including Corneal Molding and advanced contact lens fitting. Further, he enjoys medical optometry including cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. Steve has served as Treasurer of the Hiawassee Optometric Society.

Dr. Clark is married to Jennifer and they have three young children. He is also a member of the Athens Lions Club where he has held various positions. Steve enjoys many outdoor activities and is an airplane enthusiast and pilot. Email: dr.clark@keyloneyecare.com

Travis McDonald, O.D.

Dr. McDonald is a native of Athens, TN; he graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1999 with Honors and from Southern College of Optometry in 2003 Magna Cum Laude. He currently practices primary care optometry with an emphasis on glaucoma, diabetes, cataracts and macular degeneration. As well, he fits advanced contact lens cases. Travis is the current Vice President of the Hiawassee Optometric Society.

Travis is married to Amy and they have two sons together. He is a member of the Athens Optimist Club, on the board of Directors the Athens YMCA, and the Board of Directors for the Family Resource Center. Dr. McDonald routinely participates in school screenings, health fairs, and educational opportunities for the local school system.
